RIS collaborate with local SMEs in Technology Innovation cluster

Rinicom Intelligent Solutions (RIS) join Morecambe Bay & South Lakes ElecTech Innovation Cluster

25th October 2021 - Lancaster, UK.

As an emerging organisation with a global market, RIS prides itself in its far-reaching partnership connections and its individualized approach to customers within the UK, the EU and the Far East. This doesn’t detract from our local connections, and it is great to solidify our home base in Lancaster, centre of the UK and firmly plant ourselves alongside the wealth of pioneering SMEs right on our doorstep.

In October this year, RIS joined as a member of the ElecTech Innovation Cluster (ETIC) for the Morecambe Bay & South Lakes area. This cluster was set up to harness innovation in electronics technology in the area, specifically electronics, electrical hardware and embedded software and encourage SMEs to have a focus on collaboration and growth within this field. ETICs objective is:

“To build Lancashire and Cumbria’s reputation as a centre of excellence for Electech.”

RIS has been warmly welcomed into this cluster and is looking forward to contributing to and supporting other members of the group. Innovation is never a standalone concept and it’s within parties like these that we can develop our technologies, up-skill our teams and expand our businesses. It has been a pleasure to connect with Lancaster University, another member of ETIC and a top 10 UK university who are drivers for advancement in collaborative innovation.

Being part of ETIC emphasises our dedication to innovation and development, which is a key part of our business and as members, we can contribute to their endeavour to:

· build strong external relationships with purpose

· work to influence government policy at local, regional and national level

· share knowledge, skills and training

This cluster is open to collaboration between SMEs in the Morecambe Bay and South Lakes area and also recognises the opportunities that larger organisations can play in a supporting role.
